This might not be comprehensive.

SCR-274 (AAF)

12SK7    RF
12K8      CONV
12SK7    1ST IF
12SK7    2ND IF
12SR7    DET / BFO
12A6      AUDIO

The Navy ARC-5 receivers have 12SF7 for the second IF.  This tube 
contains an extra diode that is used in the "communications" receivers, 
i.e. HF versus navigation, to provide AVC that is not effected by the BFO.
