Pretty sure I've mentioned this on this and other related reflectors.

I have a download available.

I transform the output into a pi-net/collins circuit and retain the
original front panel control funtctions by insertion of a broadcast band
(2x250 pF) variable in place of the original variometer-coupling tank
coil. Thus "Coupling" control text remains valid. Output Ammeter retained.
(Making later use of the original fixed value (50pF?) coupling C, is also
possible but I found no need.). I've seen this idea used in Command set
transmitters many years later.
