A group of volunteers who are restoring a Russian IL-14 aircraft need the
documentation for the RSB-5 (later nomenclature is R-805) HF transmitter
system on board the aircraft. They're looking for the operating
instructions, as well as the technical manual or at lest the schematics.
They're interested in putting the whole radio setup on the air on the
amateur frequencies it covers (they intend to get a club license), but due
to the air museum proximity to an airport they're concerned about excess
harmonics or even out of band emissions which may occur if the transmitter
is incorrectly tuned up. The HF radio equipment comprises of a US-9 receiver
(the BC-348 copy), a remote controlled version of the US-9 and the RSB-5
transmitters.
