Does the early TBY, the one with the lamp bulb in both front panel upper 
corners, have less radium
than the later, most common version?

I wonder if this is true: most seen  TBY and TBX are suffix -8, and these 
were least likely to have actually
been used in WW2, if at all.

My friend John Nelson AA7W tells me the Japanese gear is a "real hot item" 
too.  It looks like radium
paint, at least on their type 94-6 one tube squawkie talkie, but I have 
never metered it.
