 A word of caution on the TBY, they may hold the title for the "hottest" radio I have seen. Can get a full scale reading (on the lowest scale) from five feet away with a survey meter. In comparison the radioactive meters on a R-390 will only give quarter of the scale holding the probe right up next to it. If it has the radium paint don't mess with it! Not certain if all of them had the radium paint but all that I have seen do. Wonder what would happen if you took one of them into a airport?
