just a rambling thought

I have a NIB ARC-5 receiver that someday want to setup. I also have a DY from
another ARC-5 that is trashed, sat outside for 20+ years, filled with water etc.

If one was to gut it, put a solid state power supply inside, etc .. one could
even put a sampled sound generator/amplifier/speaker inside to make the correct
running sound.

Just a thought
