Seems like a long way to move a receiver's frequency.
Was it likely just a coil turns change, or were plates likely stripped of
the tuning cap also? I've not opened it up to take a look.
Anybody know if the mod worked at all well?
If anybody fancies it for $25 plus postage, please drop me a note, off-list.
