As far as associated aircraft, see Mike's excerpts from a 1943 work
by the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Corpus Christi called

Looks like USN transport aircraft R3D-series, R4D-series, and R5O-series.

I'm a fan of the TA-12B/RA-10DB Bendix set.  Smaller.
