"I have been told that the Mormons, and this is part of a large Mormon area, 
were instructed to obtain their ham license.  Most don't know which end of 
the radio is up much less how to turn it on or transmit with it.  They were 
told to get their license and learn how to use it for the future etc.  Large 
classes of 20 to 40 to study for and take the exam although they may never 
actually get on the air.  No interest in doing so."

I have a friend who is Mormon and gung-ho into radio and EmCom, what you say 
is what they are told and many do.  I am not a Mormon, but I support his 
ideas, but see the clusterf--k coming down the road and backed away from the 
group.
