[Milsurplus] Stubborn Contacts (was: GRC-9...)

I've had several dynamotor starting solenoids
that would close with the control voltage,
but were hi-Z through the contacts.
I hooked 115 VAC to a lamp through
the contacts and started pulsing the coil,
using a braided wire end to 'brush" the
24 VDC coil contact, providing lots of short pulses.
Just fixed one for a DY-17 (ART-13) last week.
The most stubborn was for an ATB dynamotor.
Took about 5 mins. of steady pulsing.
It got a bit hot but eventually became intermittant,
then steady with a little patience and persistance.
Works every time now.
