I agree, although I do need to pull my RBC out of the rack and fix the 
AVC one of these days.  The RBB is my all-time favorite for AM broadcast 
listening, and of course it does a fine job on 160 and 80 meters as 
well.  The best part is, mine showed up in my driveway one day, gratis, 
when a local ham got tired of pushing it around his garage.   My biggest 
regret is that it took me a year to haul it into the shop and discover 
what a great receiver it really is!
