Dave,

He means the armature bearing and brush holder casting on the high voltage 
end of the dynamotor.  The part (412) he mentions is a paper washer, AKA 
bearing shim.  The reference symbol number (and a lot of others) disappeared 
from AN 08-10-112 with the 12/43 revision.  It is still in the 7/43 revision.  
Unfortunately, the parts list does not give OD, ID or thickness.

Mark, you  could mike the OD of the bearing and try an industrial bearing 
supplier for outer race shims for that diameter bearing.  They typically come 
in thicknesses of 2, 3, 5, 10 and sometimes 20 thousandths.  And will most 
likely be stainless steel, but in any case not paper.  Or if you can find 
two appropriate diameter paper punches, you could make some of 20# or 24# 
bond.
