Give me $100 and I'll tell you your stuff is worth $2,000, $200,
$5,000 and give me $500 and I'll say $10,000 :-)

A couple years back I help dispose of an estate of over 7 storage
units and the contents of a 2,000 sq ft basement.

The widow was told by a dozen experts over and over again this stuff
was worth $1,000s well after getting a few $100 ever time
I did a sale she got convinced I was shafting her. there's still a
good 5 tons of stuff left. Including that "$70,000 to $100,000
Porsche".

As you say .. not one expert bought a thing even tho I was selling it
for less then a 10th of what they said it was worth.
