[Milsurplus] FW: Command Set Dials

Can't help you with the dial, but your email reminds me of a shelf full of 
AN/ARR-2s that I saw at a surplus dealer's store in Sacramento back in the 
early 60s.  They had all been spray painted gold. I asked the dealer why 
they were painted, and he said he thought they looked better that way. 
Sometimes I wonder!
