Oh boy C rats. My favorites were the spaghetti with the 1" wad of orange grease attached to the lid and the pork roll with the lump of fat that looked like an eyeball staring at you. Yummy. In 71 & 72 the ration cans had 52-53 dates on them. The tuna was good after you squeezed the oil out of it. We couldn't wait for the chopper to drop that pallet. Gourmet
all the way. The local fish nailed to trees tasted better. Tabasco sauce made anything taste good. The cigarettes with the brown spots were good too.
