Bob,

even better, as the west coast of India faces the Arabian 
Sea, depending on where one defines the boundary between
the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.

So it appears there are two carrier groups operating in
the Arabian Sea, and one could easily be moved closer 
to the Indian sub-continent in a matter of days, at 
most.
