How about this:
Some of us (ahem :) have really neat machine shops 
that can work things like spring-steel wire.
(I'm guessing that's what it is; it's black and real hard to 
bend unless you have tools to do it).

Make a tool out of that heavy, black spring steel stuff 
that looks like this:
