Everything that you need to prep, prime and paint aluminum is readily
available from Aircraft Spruce Supply. Even zinc chromate in spray cans.
Check them out at www.aircraftspruce.com.
For all of you who have heard of Apex electronics in LA, I have posted a
video that I took on YouTube at APEX. They have tons of WW2 and newer
electronics, but you have to look for it. They also have rooms full of
vacuum tubes.

One more thing, every manual for every piece of vintage electronics is
available for free from NARA (the National Archives) in College Park, MD.
You have to go there and get certified (very easy). A warning - if you go
in you will probably never leave - it is truly awesome - they have every
original document, photograph, etc. I recently went there and found and
copied the original (hand-drawn) blueprints of the airship USS MACON from
1931.
