As Burma was a British colony at that time it could be an English,
Australian or French radio.
Looking at the man on the stretcher on the left side of the photo you
can see he is holding an Australian hat.
There can also be seen a wire coming from the radio about 4-5" from the
right going down into or behind a wooden box on the ground. Perhaps a
battery??
