Ron,

The RT-671/PRC-47 runs off of either 24-28 VDC or 115/400.  The quickest 
way to switch it over to run LSB is to swap the mechanical filter.  Because of 
the conversion scheme, the one in the set is actually LSB, so you would 
need to find a USB filter.  The filters are the same as those in AN/ARC-58 and 
AN/TRC-75.  I've never done it to mine but I understand people have also 
installed the 2nd filter and a selector relay and switched it from the front 
panel.  I think that the FSK switch was mentioned as being used.

The whip antenna is AS-1320/PRC-47.  To use the whip antenna, you also need 
MT-2786/PRC-47.  Both for the counterpoise built into it a because the 
radio will fall over if you don't put the legs under it.  :-)
