I don't have the details (or manual) on AN/SRC-8BZ eacept fpr a -25P parts
list but presume it is similar to AN/SCR-8AZ (and AN/SCR-8 and AN/SCR-8XX).
10-channel crystal controlled set, AM, 2.0-3.5 MC. Obvious follow-on to
SCR-543. The models that I have the manual on are all octal tube except for
pair of 807 finals and pair of 807 modulators in the transmitter. From the
parts manual, the B model uses common miniature tubes in the receiver and low
level part of the transmitter, but still uses four 807's. As the AZ is 24
VDC operated and the BZ parts list shows dynamotor brushes, I assume it is
also 24 VDC. But there was for the earlier models a 115 VDC, 12 VDC and 115
VAC power supply. However, which was supplied depended upon the final
suffix letter. So if your crate says "Z", it's probably got the 24 VDC dual
dynamotor supply.

Like the original Hallicrafters set, it was intended for small craft and
medium-sized cargo vessel ship to ship and ship to shore use.
