[Milsurplus] Scarce Items and the Coming Demise of Ebay "Hobby" Selling.

Russ and Chuck - In 12 years of playing with ebay, I can honestly say I
have never had any major problems. As a seller, I have run into my share
of a**holes but you would have the same if you were running a retail
store.

As a result of ebay past, I have a lot of beautiful 1930's and 40's ham
receivers that I had only seen in the QST ad's.

I did buy a few antique radios that were somewhat disappointing but I
attribute that to the seller being clueless about the item and they were
not cases of someone trying to rip someone off.

What I have noticed is that many people do not read the description or
ask questions when in doubt or take the time to read the seller's feedback.

The ebay of now is not the same as the ebay of 5-10 years ago.
