Thanks to Bruce's manual I was able to get sufficiently familiar to wake the
switch board up and spent the evening figuring out some of the configuration
and pinouts. Sadly I ended up with four of them but no terminal boxes so it
was an evening of fishing for pins with "battery" then finding the number
the pair by placing "off-hook" on the pair and seeing what line indicator
lit up. Then verified by ringing the number and watching for ringing
voltage.

Time to find some old 2500 sets to play with.

A diverting evening, although I think this might be why most of my
acquaintances find me a bit eccentric.

So next challenge, is to find a schematic or wirelist of the junction box,
or borrow one long enough to trace it out. Then the search will be on for
economically feasible connectors.

Should this be of interest to anyone

Rear Connectors for terminal box are each MS27484T22B55S plugs.

These have 55 positions, if you could not tell from the part number,
numbered A-Z, a to z and AA to HH.

In the following chart the first number indicates the plug then the second
number the terminal on he plug.

I have 6, Type II cards and there rest are Type III trunking cards.

The 6 - Type II's give me 12 local Ringdown pairs as follows:

Sorry, have not figured out Tip and Ring yet.
 Pair, Terminal 1, Terminal 21 1-w 1-N
      2 1-e 1-h
      3 1-J 1-L
      4 1-H 1-d
      5 1-b 1-r
      6 2-i 2-N
      7 2-L 2-w
      8 2-H 2-K
      9 2-b 2-e
      10 2-u 2-s
      11 1-X 1-i
      12 1-FF 1-M
