All the silver wire I've worked with has been harder than copper.  
Perhaps this has to do more with the specifics of the wire I've been 
exposed to since technically you are correct that silver is both more 
ductile and softer than copper.  Could also be the insulation since the 
silver wire I've worked with has tended to have tougher insulation.

Just trying to get more than 2kA through a motor...
