[Milsurplus] Even worse

I've been running a pair of Bose 901s (the originals) since
about 1968. They survived destruction of the house (plus
seven vehicles) in the infamous 3 May 1999 tornado that
hit the Oklahoma City area. A bit of staining on the top
of the cabinets from rain and the equalizing amp that was
on the floor got wet and warped a bit, but electronics
survived. I have never found any reason at all to change
to something else. Not saying there is not something out
there that's better, but it's doubtful that I could tell the
difference even though I could have been termed to be a
musician (of sorts) when much younger.
I can definitely notice distortion, but at what level? Even
though I am 72, I can still hear the 15,750 Hz horizontal
oscillation in some TV sets.

p.s. I also have a pair of 301s and a pair of 201s in the
bedroom audio systems.
