I agree...it was the lucky coincidence of Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II,
and Margaret Thatcher, plus the reasonable Mikail Gorbashev on the other side,
that set things up for the Cold War's end.
Heaven help us, with today's clowns in the equivalent positions (except Pope)
who are controlling events today.
