My saga was a bit different. I was looking for the -35 manual for the
PPS-5 manpack RADAR.

Problem is, there is a PPS-5; -5A; and -5B. The -B is still deployeed in
the sandbox. My understanding is there is little in common between the -5
and -5B except the case and WG cluster.

The army had combined all three sets into one (classified) book and
destroyed all extant copies of the -5 manual.

Eventually found an original (unclassified) manual for the -5 on eBay.
The set is all discrete transistors, circa 1965.
