G'day  all...

Question..1..if you were offered a BC-348 which was cosmetically OK but
showing its  age : was untouched electrically since the  day it was produced
and powers up, receives. but  reveals  possible component deterioration, and
then had to make the  choice between the  SAME receiver which had been
repaired  as required  and performs to original specs,

 

Question ..2. which one would you chose and which one  would command  the
greater value .

 

I rule out the rarity of the item  in this scenario and  take into account
that there are  collectors  and  collectors---- those that have to have one
of  everything irrespective, and those who prefer and /or  restore  to
operating  status.
