Looks like the outer knob is just broken/missing from it, Paul.

Assuming a complete electrical restoration is in order, it wouldn't be
too bad to have all the panels, covers, and rack bead-blasted and
repainted in black wrinkle. Lettering the controls would be the tricky
part. Some of the National gear I have here (NC-81X in particular) has
white-filled lettering over its gray wrinkle base. No idea how they
managed that with the wrinkle finish. Most cases the lettering is
either raised or engraved after the fact.

Always wanted one of those, too....not that I need on. Fortunately
it's now too far away to tempt me much.
