Dependent on the size of the item[s], this can be easily managed in a
toaster oven.  Do *not* use the same one used for cooking.  A Goodwill
Special works admirably and can also be used for tempering some steel (bake
at 450 deg for 30 minutes then quench) and a raft of other things.
Pre-heating is good as is an oven thermometer.  

Some argue that the somewhat broad temperature control on one of these gems
makes it unsuitable however I have never had any problems using them.  It
would be nice to have finer temp control, being capable of higher temps (700
deg would be good) and more space but there are many other things that would
be "nice" so that will just have to wait in line.

Just my penny's worth.  (I don't have two of them to rub together at the
moment.  Sorry.)
