Very good any one performed a hi-pot test on "automotive" cable?
This is why I ask. My years ago I worked for a firm that manufactured light dimmers. We would purchase large quantities of resistors, diodes, capacitors, transistors.... on bulk. Then bin and re-mark the parts. This is because as most of us know most part manufactures build one part and bin and mark the part depending on the order requirements.
So - Any one Hi-POT GXT automotive wire to see what the true insulation rating is?
WE'r taking 8.00 a spool compare to 34.00 a spool so this begs the question what is the true rating for GXT automotive wire. Most of this stuff is rated from -50C to +125C, I-PVC, twisted coating.
Thanks Sheldon for the information
