Can't say for sure, Robert.  I've never seen or heard of a surviving 
274N VHF manual, and haven't taken the time to compare the two
on the bench.  Wouldn't be surprised at differences, since the 
BC-950 transmitter's internal modulator is bound to make for some
different wiring.
