[Milsurplus] BC-221 vfo article

I've used a LM as a BFO for my BC-348 by feeding just enough signal into the antenna post.More stable than the -348 BFO.

I'm also interested in the QST article, or  any other article, because I've been 
hinking of using my BC-221 as a BFO way for, some time.  Am not an ARRL member 
ut am thinking of rejoining  (Last time I was a member, about 200 years ago, 
hey got my call wrong - but now you can fix that on the internet.)

've used the 221 as a direct conversion receiver -  not much audio but you can 
ear signals.
