[Milsurplus] BC-221 vfo article

I'm also interested in the QST article, or  any other article, because I've been thinking of using my BC-221 as a BFO way for, some time.  Am not an ARRL member but am thinking of rejoining  (Last time I was a member, about 200 years ago, they got my call wrong - but now you can fix that on the internet.)

I've used the 221 as a direct conversion receiver -  not much audio but you can hear signals.
