[Milsurplus] ID'ing a small tool pouch

picked up 3 pouches yesterday, fairly certain they're milsurplus.

thicker brown leather w/ white stitching
7" (w) x 4½" (h) x 1 3/4" thick
top flap cover held by two "snap" metal buttons
imprinted in front:   TOOL EQUIPMENT TE-90-B
                             INSPECTORS
                                4236
insides has military green canvas (stitched to the leather) w/ loops for 5 tools; the "bottom" has green canvas  w/ inked "CASE CS-92-B".

no tools or other pieces inside.
