Don't believe him. The ART-13 is "a hundred pounds of trouble" and
even makes a spark gap sound good. No one wants them and those who
claim to have them are only making excuses for their BC-191s & -375s
when they're acting up. (See PS for extended commentary on this)

That said, being the good guy I am and not wanting you to be saddled
with such a piece of iron, I'll take it off your hands for a modest
fee. I know a few folks over at the Waianae Harbor that could use a
good anchor.

Now, let's see who takes this seriously and who can take a joke. :-)

Hiki Nô!

PS: Truth is, the ART-13 IS a delightful transmitter with few bad
habits and I'm trying to figure out how to get one here that won't
require a fist full of money just for the shipping. I have two
applications for one, one for a Navy installation (which will require
an ATC or Navy version of the Tx, preferably the ATC) and one to go
with a BC-348-Q in an AN/ARC-8-type installation. Since I can't
budget, let alone find space for, two of them, I'll have to break
protocol and use the Navy one in an AAF-derived system.
