Yes.  T.O. 16-40BC639-22, dtd 30 APR 48, covers installation of 
Modification Kit MC-633, which adds a 6H6 and some other components.  The 6H6 is Noise 
Limiter and AVC Delay.  Receivers so modified are (or should be) 
nomenclatured BC-639-AM or BC-639-BM.
