However, in the same movie, there's also in the
main (radio) tent, a large bay with something
that looks like that FMQ-something radiosonde
receiver; at the bottom of the rack, looks like
a large chart recorder. This is not real likely
in the middle of the Gobi Desert, I don't 
think. 
I wonder where they got the TBW.
I also wonder if the callsigns of the
Gobi weather stations were realistic:
"Argo 1" thru "Argo 6".
Someone involved in the writing of this,
at least had some familiarity with the
story of the SACO Navy operations
in China.
