Greetings and thanks to all!
As is often the case my brain only remembered about 1/2 of the stuff I needed. I remembered the HighZ output for the headphones but didn't know or remember that the speaker outputs were 250 ohm and in that case I have a few old LS series speakers that I can use or some of the "PA" systems line transformers. As well, even though I had used them in many cases for 600 ohm outputs, I never thought to see how high the other taps went. Just further proof that I can only remember 1/2 of the stuff I need Thanks again to my collective "other brain half"!
Also, I wasn't going to hack up the inside of the radio. This one is unhacked and I will keep it that way. I was just looking for what to use an an external matching device and now that I know the speaker output impedance I'm reloaded and dangerous again. After seeing a few hacked up BC-348's come my way, including one that was fully solid-stated, It's nice to have this unmolested BC-324!
