 For a good example of WWII brutality, read "Armageddon" .  After the Germans went thru Russia and treated them with not much respect because they were noted to be "subhumans", the Russians returned the favor when coming back through eastern Europe and Germany.  I don't have the book anymore.

This has nothing to do with Milsurplus BTW.
