[Milsurplus] BC-640 value?

In a weak moment many moons ago I purchased four of them sight unseen at a
military auction. What a revelation when I saw what I had acquired and now
must move! Still have one complete, the others were parted out. Fired it
up once into a dummy load but too many knobs to tweak and heard all the
stories about TVI so let it rest. Offered it free some years ago but no
takers. Hopefully will donate it to a local military museum. In my book,
$1- a watt is generous. Hope that you realize that it is designed for 220
volts, operates on 120 via an internal auto transformer but all the various
power supply transformers have a 220 primary. Good luck, it's one of those
relics of WWII that are best left to die a natural death.

One of the local punters has a BC-640 TX that he wants to sell. It's a 50
watt VHF AM Rack beast. I have seen some parts of it in the past. However,
this is a complete unit including the rack. Anyone have an Idea of pricing
for it. I offered hin 1$/watt as my normal offering of $1/pound would be
expensive! :) I know all to well about the how bad do you want it vs how bad
does his wife want it out stuff but was wondering has anyone here hosstraded
for one of late and how many pennied changed hands.
