I can't help with aircraft type.  

I know that you know, but I'll say anyway that the transmitter appears to
be a T-47A/ART-13 with an O-16/ART-13 LF/MF oscillator and a CU-25/ART-13
external LF/MF tank coil.  I'd usually expect the O-17 (rather than the
O-16) to be found in an AN/ARC-8 installation.  The receiver appears to be
a BC-348-R (AN/ARR-11).

I've never seen placards on the receiver tube socket access cover like
those shown.  The one on the right looks similar to placards that are
sometimes found in Canadian installations.

I'll bet there's an AN/ARC-3 onboard too.  A post-WWII aircraft was pretty
well equiped with an AN/ARC-3 and -8 onboard (except for lack of a guard
channel on the AN/ARC-3).
