It is indeed the VT-127A as described by Sibley. A redesign of the TH-100
for the Army for use in the Army's first anti-aircraft radar the SCR-268.
More info in this radar can be obtained at Wickipedia or a better website,
www.antiaircraft.org/SCR268.htm. The fourth picture down shows the
transmitter unit that contains 16 of these tubes in a ring oscillator
configuration developing about 75 kw peak power at 205 Mhz. One of these
transmitters is currently undergoing restoration at InfoAge located at the
former Camp Evans in NJ. www.infoage.org. No relation to the 527 that was
also used in ring oscillators for radar but is a larger tube.
