 Last week I bid on a Volvo wagon to replace my aging road warrior.
The next day I got an eMail from the seller that included;
1) MY NAME
2) MY CITY
3) MY EMAIL ADDRESS (which is not my EBay Seller name)
4) MY PHONE NUMBER
5) MY FEEDBACK RATING
6) THE ITEM I BID ON

 
However it appears that this info was being shared with other car dealers (the seller had used an outside generic site builder type of template to list the car). This is quite troubling as I was not the winner, and this information is not supposed to be delivered until I win.

I complained to EBay (sending to Spoof at ebay.com). The reply I got suggested I opt out of EBay notification, and get this, change my seller ID!! It appears they're doing what they want, and if you catch them at it, then you have to opt out.

Ebay sucks!
