[Milsurplus] AN/ART-13 Operating Manual For Sale

He offered the same terms as you and replied to me first, shortly after my posting.  When I checked my email this morning I replied to him saying payapl was fine and then replied to you as a courtesy, to let you know if for some reason that transaction was not completed you were next in line. (sorry for the typo but you seemed to get my meaning).  By the next time I checked my email, well less than an hour later, I had payment from responder #1.  Based on this could you please explain to me what I did wrong?  For that matter,  If responder #9 was someone who I had known for ages and had helped me many times in the past, I could have elected to give it to them as a gift of thanks for all of the help over the years.  If I had just posted it to an online auction site would you have posted a complaint to the reflector asking why didn't I offer it to the list first?  Now, if you had offered to rake the leaves up on my lawn, that would
 have been a different matter altogether.....
