As I recall, one of the mods involves getting a LSB filter from Fair
Radio that is intended for the 618T, and using it to replace the filter
in the PRC-47 (which is, technically, a USB filter used to produce LSB,
so an LSB filter produces USB.)  There are some other versions...

However some of us are being rebels and operating USB on 80 and 40M
so that mil USB-only radios don't have to be modified.  All depends on
what you want to use the radio for, I guess.
