[Milsurplus] NiCad battery question -

NiCds, if left unused for months or more can grow internal 'whiskers' that
short out cells. I'd bet one or two of your cells are dead shorts. They
can be rejuvenated with a current pulse, but I'd not depend on them
afterwards.
NiCds like to be exercised. Couch potatoes die.
