[Milsurplus] PRC-68A tool?

Hi all,

 

Here's is a photo of the battery compartment of my PRC-68A.  I have the
PRC-68 manual that mentions the alignment tool which is present. There seems
to be another placeholder for another item to the left of the battery
connection, but the PRC-68 manual didn't seem to mention it (as far as I
could tell).

Does anyone know if there should be something in that spot or not?
