G'Day all.....
Transformer ratings... A HV xfmr (Chicago  STC) is marked- not with AC each
side of CT- but as follows : 920V DC @ 0.3 A and 904V DC @ 0.5 A.
It did operate into a pair of 3B28 tubes via the one winding which was
centre tapped.
Q.....Is there any way of determining/relating secondary AC voltage  apart
from measuring using the ratings as listed.
The schematic shows that a DC voltage of over 1kV appears to be used when tx
operating.
I confess ignorance on this rating description -obviously- but it helps me
and  the customer know  what he's getting.
