Greetings,
I have a R-388A at home right now. (wish it was mine!) Well at least I think it as a R-388A as the dag is missing. However it is a 51J-4 with filters and some Navy QC acceptance stamps on the radio. I'd say thats about as close to a R-388A you can have without a tag.
